Ben Arthur: Ben Arthur is the Robert Altman of Rock. He doesn't own a television, is an avid reader, and is a remarkable storyteller. Behind his super melodic pop façade, Ben Arthur's lyrics betray a dark sense of humor and a sardonic wit that teenagers are identifying with. After two releases on his own label, Ben will make his Bardic Records debut on March 23, 2004. The preliminary response has been fantastic with a forthcoming cover story in CMJ and reviews in Glamour, Marie Claire, YM and Playgirl. Jennifer Marks: Don't let the red hair and freckles fool you- she's a nice girl with a naughty streak. Jen Marks has recorded and released 3 albums prior to signing with Bardic Records. Just when you think you have got her figured out, she'll serve up something racy and new. Jen has received great reviews from Billboard, CMJ, Time Out New York, and Teen Beat, and has earned 1st Prize at the Great American Song Contest. She will make her Bardic Records debut in on May 4th 2004. Distributed by Sony Red. Wendy De Rosa: Savvy, strong, independent, full of life and inspiration--this is the groove based, jazzy soul-folk music of Wendy De Rosa. She finds that catchy melody creates that hook, and then you find youre singing it all day long. Her songs are beat driven, and her timber voice soars melodies over her rhythmic guitar playing. Wendy is based in the Bay Area, California, and tours nationally. Molly and The Hatchets: Molly and the Hatchets combine heavy beats and riffs with female vocals sweet enough to draw you in, then strong enough to hook you. Their original rock is inspired by Texas rock, jazz, and alternative styles. Their full set will drive your heart rate up. The band is based in San Marcos, Texas, and at home on the stages of Austin's Red River district, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. They swing, scream, philosophize, and tell wild tales, but none of that gets in the way of the rock

Named after founder Graham Guest's fifth generation grandfather. This Southern Rock band has just enough pop, jazz, and funk in its veins to appeal to audiences of all ages and origins and has in their 6 years of constant touring. Their latest effort, a highly-anticipated double studio disc set, was recorded at Sugar Hill Studios by Dan Workman (Destiny's Child and ZZ Top), distributed by Red Eye Distribution.
The Dealers- The Dealers' musical personality ranges from heartfelt acoustic ballads to groove-based electric rock with the occasional improvised jam, and their live performance is a must-see. Texas Guitar is renowned all over the world, and these guys have their fingers on the pulse of that famous screaming, crying, string-bending sound. Based and beloved in Austin, the band released two albums in 2003, Past Lives and Live at Tambaleo.
Come join us at The Capitol for a beer, a bite and 6 great acts from 12- 6pm !
