Posted by narum Contact: Leea Mechling 440-8318 or 698-7303 email: dillogirl709@earthlink.net The soon-to-open South Austin Museum of Popular Culture will feature well-known Austin music poster artists Kerry Awn, Brian Curley, Jim Franklin, Danny Garrett, Henry Gonzalez, Guy Juke, Gary McElhaney, Bill Narum, Micael Priest, and Sam Yeates. The exhibit, opening on March 15th at 7:09pm, will include both vintage works dating back to the late 1960s and the artists' current works. On the evenings of March 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 21st vintage film footage shot by Bill Narum will be shown. The footage includes artists like Roy Buchanan, Commander Cody, Waylon Jennings, Freddie King, Van Morrison, and many others. In addition, the artists will appear at SXSW and API's Flatstock 4 poster show at the Austin Convention Center on March 19th and 20th from noon to 6pm. Admission is free. The Museum of Popular Culture is located at 1516-B South Lamar
