Dayna Kurtzs debut studio album Postcards From Downtown was released in the US in 2002 to the delight of her fans and critics who had been anxiously awaiting an official album from the road-loving singer.
To support this album, Dayna relentlessly toured back and forth across the country, picking up new fans at every stop.
In March of 2003 Dayna Kurtz's "Postcards From Downtown" was released in the Netherlands by Munich Records, a small label run by dedicated music fans.
Within weeks the album received glowing 5 star reviews, significant radio play, and it catapulted into the Top 20 of the Dutch album charts.
On June 5th 2003, Dayna performed her second ever show as a headliner in Amsterdam at the fabled Paradiso. This DVD, Postcards From Amsterdam, is a document of that highly anticipated (and very sold out) concert. The DVD was released in Holland and will now be available in the US. On Tuesday, April 6, Dayna will be performing at Cactus Café, to promote Postcards From Amsterdam.
Dayna Kurtz plans to release her sophomore album, Beautiful Yesterday, later this spring.
