Posted by oldsettlersmusicfest on 4/14/2004, 1:31 pm TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE! What: A nationally known music festival featuring the best in roots and Americana music. Held in a gorgeous Texas setting at the height of bluebonnet and wildflower season, there's great music and activities for the whole family. Benefiting: Austin Sunshine Camps, Capital Area Food Bank and Safeplace Five Stages: over two dozen bands, performance workshops, arts and crafts, kids' activities, music store, youth talent competition, open mic, Sunday gospel show, great food, libations and more. Camping: Camping at the fest is a cultural experience of its own. The grounds rival some of the most beautiful festival sites in the world according to our fans. In 2003 some might remember YMSB and Patty Griffin jamming together around a campfire, along with Mike Williams, with his glorious baritone harmony late--late into the night. Veteran campers have wonderful memories of one special late night serenade in 2000 by costumed members of Leftover Salmon. Please visit our camping page for more information. Tickets: Available now. Children fifteen and under get in free when accompanied by a paying adult. A donation to the Capital Area Food Bank is appreciated. Where: Salt Lick Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch, just minutes from Austin, located 11 miles south of Highway 290 West on Farm Road 1826. Map.
