Posted by Cabo Wabo Newsletter Cinco de Cabo on the East Coast! Once again, we our hostin our epic band-to-band standoff, "A Shot at the Cabo Wabo". Last year's competition was larger-than-life and our competitors amazed even us with the enthusiasm and energy they brought to the contest. The response was so incredible that we are more stoked than ever about continuing to build the world's most exciting competition for aspiring musicians. Thanks to all of you who participated last year. No matter where you placed, you're rock stars in our book! Weather in the sun-drenched party Mecca down in Cabo San Lucas is holding strong these days. The forecast is calling for calm breezes and nothing but sunshine with an average of 80 degrees. Beautiful! Keep in mind the summer and fall seasons, which are around the corner, are the best times to catch good surf down in Cabo. Break out those flip flops and bathing suits... Join us in celebrating the opening of the first stateside Cabo Wabo Cantina at the grand opening of the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Lake Tahoe.
Nicknamed The Tahoe Wabo, the Cantina is located at Harrah's Harvey's Lake Tahoe. The grand opening will be a weekend long event, April 30th- May 2nd, and will coincide with the first annual Cinco de Cabo festival, West Coast style!
If you can't make it to the Cinco de Cabo celebration in Tahoe, join us in Atlantic City at The Borgata for Cinco de Cabo, East Coast style, on May 8, 2004 in Atlantic City
