Garden of the Gods

I drove through the garden of the gods in Colorado Springs a couple years ago. I was surprised at the number of bikers that were riding in the park considering what appeared to me to be steep hills. Is that a difficult ride, or is it just my slanted view of the world from growing up in flat Pinellas County?
