I'm typing this from my curent base in central London as I'm here visiting family and friends. there is ZERO to do in or around Gatwick Airport. If you have time get the train into London center - try to get a ticket that includes the subway or underground and pay the London Eye a visit. Awesome is the only way to describe it. 440 ft high viewing Ferris Wheel that will give you a view to remember. Ricght next to The Houses of Parliament. About 20 bucks each to ride for 30 minutes.
