Restricting non-league players on a last weeks performance is a non-starter: you hit 80 against a weak team when your full strength team wins by 100+ runs & the following week against a strong team you don't have 11 and you have League Player restrictions and therefore cannot bat all the overs - not fair on any team in the division.
I agree the whole League situation needs looking at again, Matt Gorley & I have the same restrictions!
Under 16s already are treated as non-league players regardless of what level they play at.
The problem with NLL players is that most do not/ would not play for the teams that require strengthening to be competitive. Also very few of them come from clubs other than Egremont & Workington and therefore are more likely to make the strong teams stronger, but as a number of teams are struggling to field 11 this issue must be re-examined.
