Question for those in StL

I have a Cardinals question, well more like a Scott Rolen question and I wanted your opinions.I have been reading some stuff about Rolen being a "high-maintenance" player and having difficulty with La Russa. I know there was a problem during the playoffs but I thought that was just a 1-time incident. I am a big fan of Scott Rolen and I find these articles seem to be coming fro disgruntled Phillies fans. What have you StL people heard?
