After the benching, he took off and starting producing. In the end, it brought us Cards fans a World Series title, so I'd say Tony's stratigic efforts, worked. Learn to let the b.s. coming from Philly fans, pass. The will always be scorned towards Rolen, since he moved on. Rolen and Tony are fine, according to all that they both have said to the St Louis media, after the World Series. Life is great in St Louis, home of the 2006 World Champions!!!!
Rolen and LaRussa had a spat over Rolen not being in the lineup that one playoff game. Rolen has said publicly, that it is done and over, and all is fine.
