Posted by Paul Unfortunately all forms of media cost money to produce so whether or not something is marketable or profitable is a sad but true part of whether or not it is worth investing in. It would obviously be easier to just put my thoughts on Youtube. Pete Rose is a hot topic in many articles asking about McGwire. The biggest difference I see between the two are that Pete Rose was officially banned for breaking a baseball rule that was enforced, and he confessed as part of a bargain with Bart Giomatti who said he could get Rose into the Hall the following year. Giomatti died like eight days later. Rose went to the new commissioner, Fay Vincent, and Vincent denied him. Rose then tried to take back his confession and said he was forced into it as a bargian. What a sad story! Since my writing is in support of McGwire while trying to be honest about the scandal, I think the case will be made in his favor. Any "personal" information about him I will be writing about is stuff already made public by books, articles, interviews, etc. I am by no means conducting an investigation or even writing prodominantly about his personal life. I think you will find that what you said will remain true - I don't expect McGwire to say another word about it. Time will tell. Paul
