A "skinny beanpole," or "out-of-shape-whatever"? And does that make Mark Mcgwire, an avid weightlifter, a meathead as well? The reason why people share their "great knowledge" is simply because they DO know. Do most people here know how many types of testosterone esthers there are, and how long they stay in the body? Why some steroids build more muscle than others? Why some people suffer certain side effects while others don't? What kinds of diseases steroids and growth hormone are used legitimately to treat? How they affect fast-twitch muscle fibers and their roles in physical activity? These are legitimate questions that could be useful in understanding not only Mark McGwire's situation, but any athletic situation. To turn a blind eye and criticize is ignorant, IMO.
I like to think that I'm pretty civil when discussing this topic; I don't think it was "bragging" as much as just informing of his knowledge. SW may come off harsher and blunter than the average poster here.
