Mark Mcgwitre seems to me to be a very sensative person and is acutely aware of how he can take away and be focused on when he is present. Example remember a couple of years ago when Californis atheles were being honored and he declined to go because he felt that his presence would detract from the others, He has said in many interviews in 98, 99 and 00 that he did not take steroids how often do yuou have to say something to be believed. As far as I am concerned that congressional hearing was nothing but a witchhunt. How come no one remember Raphel swearing under oath I have NEVER taken steroids but short time later tested positive. Cal Ripken and=Tony Gwynn were elected yet every news article I have read is more about Mark not making it I bet you that Mark feels that his not making detracted from what should have been thier day. One more thing Mark Mcgwire does not owe me any explaination he has answered the question over and over. I owe him a thank you for much pleasure and excitement baseball is not the same with out him.
