don't forget about the baseball cocain court hearing's in the 80's .one player can't think of his name. but he said willie mays tought him how to use pills at the start of his baseball career and he eventually got hooked on coke .you're right about ruth,mantle and the rest of them they all were using pills and coke.there's a guy here where i live, he was talking in the sports page of the news paper when he played before and after ww2 guys were bragging about these pills they where taking so dope goes back along ways in baseball.his name was buddy lewis he got 1000 hits faster than anyone in the history of baseball .he played in a all-star game with dimaggio and ted williams.
