I'm finally getting around to posting about the Hall of Fame, it's been awhile. I remember about 10 years ago Gumby, Randall and I had the main pages for information on McGwire. I think it's ridiculous that McGwire didn't make it into the Hall of Fame. Granted he was on the ballot with some shoe ins (i.e., Cal Ripken Jr., Tony Gwynn), but the numbers he put up in his career were Hall of Fame caliber. He never tested positive, never admitted, because someone refuses to talk about something doesn't make them guilty. Would you rat a family member out? I wouldn't... MLB owes McGwire, him and Sosa brought the fans back to baseball in '98. After Bonds breaks Aaron's homerun record he'll most likely get in on the first ballot. I don't think it's right, because he's been caught red handed on more then one occassion, but if he's in, then everyone should get in. Open up the flood gates.
