Clearly, he DOES sign, and IS seen in the public at times, and your statements were not accurate. I corrected that, so other fans would not be mislead and basically discouraged by some guy with a sour taste towards Mark McGwire, who continues to come to this board and spew it over auto prices that Steiner charges and such, which Mark McGwire has no control over. Steiner sets their own prices, period.... He did not sign for you, but did for me and several others both times I have had a chance to see him in the St Louis area since he has retired from the Cardinals. He was never hateful, nor was he a jerk, like you have implied about him. Obviously, you have an agenda in alot of your posts, and everyone who is not blind can see that you were taking your potshots once again. Obviously, your statements were misleading other fans, about him not signing in the public. Maybe he did not sign for you, but you are not everyone. I just said it was a deceptive lie, because it is. In general, he does sign for people, while out in the public. I also know he did sign the night the Cardinals asked Mark and family to come back to honor him in 2005, before the old Busch Stadium was torn down. I did not see him that night(did not get to attend due to other obligations), but my brother did, and he got his sig on a baseball. Here is a summary, since he has retired, I know of 3 public appearances in the St Louis area, personally, and he signed for fans all 3 times. Now that is accurate. Like I said, get over yourself and the sour taste towards Mac.
