As a devout Cardinals fan and Mcgwire fan I feel that aside from all the controversy Mcgwires numbers alone should have landed him in the Hall of Fame. McGwire didnt do any thing illegal at the time of his playing. No matter what the Chicago and New York Media seem to think. He was legitimate and the 1998 season really gave baseball a second life after the 1994 debacle. I feel that he has been done an injustice due to the beauracratic system in place now. Thanks for the many memories MAC.
