The fact that McGwire did not talk to Mitchell confirms nothing. The fact that no one involved in the game (other than the money-grubbing moron Cansucko) has knowledge of him taking illegal substances does. If McGwire spoke with Mitchell and denied using steroids, who would believe him? Palmeiro, Bonds, and Clemens have all denied and are now viewed in the same light as tapeworms. McGwire should now be going where he belongs - straight to the Hall of Fame, with his record of 70 home runs rightfully returned to him.
