This is a real shame. I've been & always will be a Big Mac fan regardless. Mark will be in the HOF, but I believe it will only happen if this whole steroid issue is handled differently. A new, better commisioner will help. Yeah, people take/took steroids...ok. It was/is wrong. But you need talent to play the big leagues...you need a sweet swing to hit homers. Steroids don't do that. No one really knows the whole issue except Mark, & I think he should at least talk about it. Maybe it'll help him feel better & maybe the critics need to listen too. Look at his college stats...I'm sure that wasn't from anything but good old talent.
Mark was one of the best in the game & deserves to be in the HOF!
