I'm really very sorry that Mark didn't make it into the HOF again. Baseball has a major league problem,performance enhancing, so here I go! We all should take on a little of the responsibility,for cheering these 40+ yr olds that can still pitch in the high nineties and hit all those homeruns and make those acrobatic catches. I know I did just that as did many others across the country!! I know you have to have natural ability,talent to be able to do those things, but if your honest you know these beloved heros are on performance enhancing drugs, to have lasted this long. It shouldn't be just us , the media, the coaches, talent scouts and the owners are all to be blamed , for making these players feel that they need to use these enhancers to stay ahead of the game and in the game. I have been a huge baseball fan(GO CARDS) all my life and feel sickened by all of this. MLB., Have you thought about the messages your sending our youth, It's ok to cheat as long as you don't get caught. SHAME ON YOU!! I have 4 grandsons, that I love very much!! My oldest gr. son is almost 4 and absolutely loves baseball, but I'm not sure I want him to play. But if he does I will support him but know this I will be taking an active role in protecting him!!!
Let's put the human element back in baseball, where players get to the show based on their talent, strong work ethics,humility and honesty!!!!
