Okay, anyone still believe Canseco? I know some of what he said in "Juiced" was true, but the best way to get people to believe lies is to mix in a little truth. Now Magglio Ordonez, not named anywhere in the Mitchell report, is supposedly going to be mentioned in "Vindicated" - but only if he doesn't pay up. It appears Jose is blackmailing Maggz, threatening to mention him in his new book if Ordonez doesn't contribute money to the film Canstrikeout is planning on making about his first book. And he didn't write his first book for the money? Riiiiiiight... Apparently he's already blown his proceeds from that book, just like his earnings from playing.
As George Mitchell said, of all the coaches, players, managers, owners, trainers, peanut vendors, beer guys, etc. that he talked to, only Canseco had any knowledge of McGwire using steroids. Who to believe?
