i have reason to beleive there is fake 1985 chong mark mgwire cards in psa, bgs, fgs, mgs, scd, pro, fga, slabs and most likely others. if you have any hard core facts on this please please let me know. at last check on ebay (aution, store, and completed listing) there were 29 psa, 1 bgs, 1 fgs, 22 mgs, 1 scd, 1 pro, 1 fga, 31 ungraded, and only 1 set(missing the mcgwire, only set i've seen in last few years) that makes a total of 88 (a couple may be double do to relisting) look on ebay for yourself all of these had the light background. according to beckett.com there were 3 different 1985 chong sets the 1st one was the error set it had the dark background(500 produced), the 2nd was the corrected version also with the dark background(500 produced) both of these were offcenter, the 3rd set had the light background and has centered like the ones you see everyday(700 produced) on the psa set registry for mcgwire there were 2800+ psa 10's 3500+ psa 9's as well as others i did'nt check the # on lower grades, on bgs website they had 200+ cards graded. based on listing on ebay mgs must have 1000's as well. i spoke to psa today and they said there were only 200 of these cards produced, they also said there was a error on there registry and would fix(ok??) the numbers simply don't add up. there is by far more 1985 chong mark mcgwire cards out there than any other minor league card, again look for yourself. so if you have any info on this please please let me know i think psa trying to pull a fast one and cover there butt. thank you
