I had forgotten how disappointed I am in him but he brought me to a new low last night.
It's maybe the worst mea culpa ever (but like hasten he probably doesn't know what that means):
-doesn’t believe steroids helped him perform and he only took them “only for health purposes.”
-his God given talent, hand eye coordination and work ethic got him all those hits.
-believes he could have accomplished everything without steroids “that’s why it’s the most regrettable thing I’ve ever done.”
He kept nothing from the 98 season, gave it all away but doesn’t believe that steroids helped him. Just confirms that he knew it was a sham.
Coming back to baseball because the wife encouraged him to because she knows how much he loves to teach (she's ready to move on and wants him out of the house).
He’s delusional plus he cries, A LOT.
Any "manning up" he did in the statement he undermind in this interview. Terrible, just terrible.
