Welcome to the Metro Angels bulletin board. This is a free service to assist Southern California commuters who are left without transportation due to the MTA bus/rail operators strike. If you rely on the bus or rail system and are stranded due to the strike, please post your contact info and commute details. If you are a driver with a car, truck or van willing to be a METRO ANGEL and assist those who need to get from point A to point B for their entire journey or part of their journey, please contact those who need a ride via email or phone (if provided) and help them get to their destination. We need to help our fellow Angelenos in this time of crisis. BE A METRO ANGEL!

HOW TO USE:

If you are an MTA rider who needs a ride, please post the starting and the word "NEED" followed by the destination city/community in the subject line: (i.e. NEED - NORTH HOLLYWOOD TO WARNER CENTER or NEED - EAST L.A. TO SANTA MONICA). Please leave your name, email and (optional) phone number. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST LIST YOUR ORIGIN/DESTINATION LOCATIONS IN THE TOPIC TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP YOU!

EXAMPLE:

Topic: NEED - NORTH HOLLYWOOD TO WARNER CENTER

My Metro Rapid is gone! I need to get from Vineland and Magnolia to Victory and Topanga by 9am.
