Posted by michelle on 6/28/2004, 5:09 pm I have a son who is 6 now and racing and it's all he talked about since he was 3 when he learned how to ride a bike. My husband and I take him to races for fun--the kid can't wait to get on the track each time. As a parent, it's interesting to hear how you guys get into this amazing sport. Did you eat, sleep, drink motocross when you were very little? Did your rents encourage you or discourage you? Did you have a track at home, ride trails how did you practice? What bikes did you start riding on? How much practice did it take to be as competitive as you are? I realize TALENT plays a big role but that is a lot to this great sport. Some insight, maybe a mini-biography page would be a great addition to your site and help attract sponsors--and answer a lot of stupid questions by people like me. Thanx

Hi Mitch,
I have seen you race at pretty much every race I have been to. Three words: You are FAST!
