So...following the sermonic solo, I stood up and preached. And God blessed through God's Word.

So...what I'm trying to figure out is why preachers act like they gotta call for a certain song, sung (or played) a certain way by a certain singer (or musician) before they have to preach.

What's that about?

Or, my favorite, the choir sings. The church is slain...and the preacher gets up and sings before taking his text?

Help me.
