depending on where you are. BUT, the choir director WOULD be under the MOM. Think of the MOM as the Manager of the Music Entity in your church. 694Below is just one possible description.

SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES (i.e., Weddings and Funerals) Assist Pastor, bride, groom and/or bereaved family members in identifying musicians and singers for special services. Because the Minister of Music position is a part-time position, the Minister of Music will be available for special worship services as his schedule permits.
With respect to weddings, the bridge and groom shall be responsible for compensating the musicians and singers.
With respect to funerals, the Church shall be responsible for compensating the musicians.
In the event that the Minister of Music serves as a musician and/or singer for a "special worship service", he shall be compensated for such service on the same basis as other musicians and/or singers.
Whether or not the Minister of Music opts to serve as a musician for a "special worship service", his compensation and benefits shall remain unaffected. Compensation and benefits related to "special worship services" are not within the purview of this memorandum of understanding.
