Just heard my past high school choir director died this week.....

Mrs. Channie Knight of Mobile, Alabama. A phenomenal women. This lady would take us in her own car to the All-State Choir Festivals eveeeeeeerrrry year no matter where it was held. She had a number of quotes that I still qoute to this day like "You can't get blood out of a turnip", "Y'all are a bunch of crabs in the bucket" and the one that best helped me was "You are not inferior to white people." She will truly be missed.
