Trying to not only learn but understand the song (theory). Can't understand why the 3 chord in the song is an E Major. IN the key of C the iii would be Em. BUt, as we all know the song sounds good. SO if someone were trying to tell me how to play and they only gave me the progression 7-3-6-2-5-1-4 how would I know the iii was an E Major?
