What's with this new "mentality"...

This new breed of pastors seems to think that our churches are going to become extinct. "We have to ATTRACT/do things to ATTRACT more young people" or our churches are not going to be here in the next few years.

How you figure? Churches been in existence for 50, 60, 70, 100+ years and folk been dyin' all them years and the church is still rolling on.

What is you TALKIN' about??

Furthermore, since when is it our job to ATTRACT folk? Has becoming the main attraction replaced truly lifting up Jesus?

I'm all for more young people in the church, but I ain't in the attractin' business...
