I thought they just called them Deacons with Pastorial functions not being ordained to do full pastorial duties but some limited ones. You did enlighten me concerning Presbyterians because I don't know anything about them or Lutherans.
However they ususally follow anglo or white denominational rules and functions don't they?

I just never heard of this in black denominations. Somehow I believe this would breed huge divisions because there are so many power struggles in black churches nobody wants lowly positions or to be a servant they want to be Minister one week and Arch Bishop the next. LOL
