I have a problem with a few choir members (1- a minister) using electronic devices during choir rehearsal. In the past I have privately asked them (2-3 members out of 15) to reframe and stay focus on learning the songs. I provide type copies of the words and music to hear new songs with my IPAD or laptop when necessary. Last night was terrible because I stop the rehearsal and asked them to put away the laptops and phones. Well the minister turned his computer around to show me that he was looking at the words to the song and said he disagreed with my decision and said that it was ok to agree to disagree. He did close it. Well I dont agree to disagree and we have a lot of tension for the balance of the rehearsal. Any advice?
