I'm considering coming to D.C. for the National Gospel Choirs and Choruses in August. The convention will be at the Omni Shoreham-Calvert Street N.W. I need the names of some inexpensive hotels(cheap) that is near by(walking distance, cab or public transportation). Like most conventioneers I'm on a "po folks" budget, but would love to attend the workshop. I'm not choicy(at least 2 stars) as long as it is reasonably clean, safe, air conditioned and close to the headquaters hotel. Please post ASAP. Thanks and Peace
