In 1965 the Birkenhead Brewery published a booklet called "The First Hundred Years of the Birkenhead Brewery Company Ltd". At that time it had already merged with Threlfall Chesters Ltd (in 1962) and was still running under its own name.I have a photocopy of this publication but the quality is poor. The text is OK, it's just that the pictures are very faint. A few pubs are shown.
If you would like a copy, let me know.
I remember drinking Threlfalls in Birkenhead, BBC was just before my time.
