I have traced back a couple of relatives who were Publican's in Salford. However my G,G,G Grandfather is down in the 1881 census as a Publican in Preston, the address being 31 Lune Street. Although the Salford area is well covered I have found little in Preston. His name was George Bannister. I have tried the 1881pubs link but it does not seem to be working. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it. Thank you. Annette
