Does anyone have any information about The Ship & Dolphin public house which stood at 34 New Gravel Lane (new called Garnet Street), Shadwell, London (docks area) from 1853 to 1893?
My great-grandfather Thomas Wragg was the tenant in the 1870s and there was a painting of the pub in 1877 which was donated to Tower Hamlets Council, which has since disappeared.
Any information would be gratefully received.
