I Have found a John Joseph Walker in the 1921 London Directory living at 36,St Leonards Rd Poplar.
If you can email me directly i can send you a copy of the page.Also,have quiet a lot of other London Directories,so if you can send me some specific names or streets,then i can try and look for you.
Only found one lONDON AND CHATHAM ETC PUB AND THATS IN I THINK ITS CABUL ST IN SW LONDON,so email me,then i can try for you,Dave.
