Dear Steve, I am writing a book about growing up in the 50/60's and went to St Michaels primary school on Manchester Road in Bolton. I became a cub mistress and after our meetings we would go to a couple of pubs close to the church and school. One "The Greyhound" is still there but the other one on Manchester road going towards Moses gate on the other side of the church railings was demolished along with all the houses. My family and I have asked friends but no one can remember the name of the other pub. I am hoping that you may be able to help. I have been unable to find any record of it but probably I'm not looking in the right place.
