I grew up in THRELFALLS pubs and remember the takeover of Birkenhead B which was followed by Threlfalls itself being bought by Whitbread a few years later.Both breweries closed later and the pubs were supplied by the Whitbread brewery[Duttons] in Blackburn.We later acquired the Threlfalls Head Office building in Truman St. Liverpool which still stands.
