Am interested in the locality of this Inn. Have a p/c of it sent back to New Zealand by my g.gm in 1875 saying the Inn was 400 years old then! With a name like Crab and Lobster it possibly was near a coastal/seaside resort My g.gm. had family in Margate in 1881 - this is the only clue.
There is a cliff behind the Inn.
