Posted by C Jeffreys on 11/5/2007, 1:08 pm I've recently obtained a copy of an ancestors birth certificate, on it it states that his father was William Potts (we believe born 1806)and that his profession was innkeeper. His place of residence was at Bridge End Askerton, Cumberland on the 1839 birth certificate. I was hoping that someone may be able to assist me in finding out which pub he may have worked at, if there are any photo's available of it and the length of time he worked there. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Caroline
