Does anyone have any information whatsoever on the Alfreds Head in Dorset Street (now Dorset Road, London SW8 please? My Great Great Grandmother, Maria Cook, ran it (it sadly no longer exists!) according to the 1881 census. Prior to this she and her husband James Cook ran a pub in Bisham in Bucks but I have been unable to discover which. All information gratefully received, thank you.
