Hi. Does anyone have any info about the Royal George, just outside Euston mainline station in London? Bar girl said it used to be in the station itself and was bombed, but the pub is clearly a 30s Deco pub - or rather, Deco restrained by conventional Britishness. Two Truman eagles up top, but inside - big marquetry panel of the aforesaid ship over main fireplace, and delightful marquetry panels around the other fireplace on railway and pub themes. Architect? Artist? Dates? Needed urgently for architectural tour in area soon!! Thanks
