Hello all,
Here's hoping someone has access to the 1901, 1902 directories. Or knows how I can find the owner of a pub in 1901.
I believe my GGG Grandfathers brother born Allington 1840, moved to Kent
with the rest of my Hilliers and returned to Bridport to be found on the
1901 census East Road, Bridport, as Inn keeper/pub, own account.
I am informed that the only pub in East Street, was the White Bull inn. Does anyone know how I can find the owner/proprietor in 1901. I have tried Historical directories online to no avail but am in Australia so access is limited.
Their names are George Hellier/Helyer etc and wife Sarah.
