We are in Australia, I have a postcard with a photo of my Grandfather Frederick Green sitting outside of the Alfington Inn. I could either email you a copy or send a copy by post ?
According to family stories My Grandfather and
Horace Russell ( of Sidmouth )were joint owners of the Alfington Inn during 1920 to 1930 but my Grandfather drank all of the profits
My Mother Violet Amelia Green was living at the Alfington when she got married to Horace Russell in 1921, they were married at the Parish Church August 15th 1921.
I wrote to Mr & Mrs Mogg some time ago asking if he could provide any information about the Inn but received no reply.
