I was mistaken Cross Keys Inn was never ormerl "Tingries. The only info I can find on the Inn is an archive file stating Chapmans bought from Crawely- 1747, plus a mention in "Pubs and Pints" written by Stuart Smith. I might be asking the imppposible but my goal is to find out when the P.H. was fist built and who built it. My guess would be the land came from Crawley estate.But, I have been mistaken before
