I have only recently started My Family Tree. My Great Grandfather was James Elmer,B 1786,place not known. He had a son, Edgar, who married in 1888,at age of 29. I have a copy of the Marriage Cetificate, showing his father James as a Publican.
Scrolling through these pages I find a James Elmer was Licensee of "Falcon", Pulham Market,1836 - 1845.
Edgar was married at Poringland but his residence was Pulham Market. Could this be the self same person?
It would be of interest if any further details are known, or available.
