I've had another thought about this one over the weekend. There is no longer a Durham Street in Bethnal Green. But there is a pub called the Durham Arms, still standing at 408 Hackney Road. Close by is a side street called Teesdale Street. And at 30 Teesdale Street, in the 1880s at least, stood a pub called Noah's Ark. If you can show that Durham Street became Teesdale Street - then I think this must be the place. Some basic details of the Teesdale Street beerhouse are here:
