I have located two references to a Ph Miller in Bury
1836 landlord of the BLACK GIRL in Guildhall St. This pub was next door to the BLACK BOY a pub that is still there. The BLACK GIRL only lasted about 3 years.
1844 landlord of the ONE BULL in Angel; ref in Whites directory. I have no further references but I have not checked 1851 census or 1861 Census. This pub was up for sale last time I was in Bury, about 4 weeks ago, it may now be closed.
