I don't know if you ever got a reply to a query about the Colliers Arms, Frog Lane, Wigan (October 2006). However, I can confirm that the pub - now Sam's Bar - belonged to the Albion Brewery of Hardybutts. The license was transferred from the King of Prussia on Hallgate in the 1900s. King of Prussia Yard can now be seen on the site of that pub, opposite the defunct Brickmakers Arms.
